On June 05, 2025, Dr. Mosoka Fallah, Acting Director of the Science and Innovation Directorate and program manager of Saving Lives and Livelihoods Initiative at Africa CDC, visited the Africa Bio-Hub, CDT-Africa’s core Medical Discovery laboratories at the Sefereselam campus. During his visit, Dr. Fallah met with the medical discovery team and held productive discussions with the center leaders. They discussed the ongoing activities and plans of CDT-Africa, the visions of the Africa CDC, and potential areas for collaboration, such as clinical trials, medical innovation and capacity building. The visit also coincided with CDT-Africa’s celebration of the International Clinical Trials Day (ICTD), adding significance to this engagement. The visit and meetings highlighted the growing recognition of African scientific leadership and the importance of regional collaboration in advancing health research and innovation on the continent.
